Usage Indicated for the treatment of signs and symptoms of dry eye disease.
About 10% respond with ≥ 10 mm increase in Schirmer’s wetting after 29 days.
Contraindications None
Pediatric use Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.
Pregnancy There are no adequate and well-controlled studies of VEVYE administration in
pregnant women. Teratogenic to rats when orally administered at 7,250 times
the normal human ophthamic dose.
Non water vehicle provides smaller drop size and longer on-eye residual period.
Contact lenses may be inserted 15 minutes following administration.
