Contraindications | Primary glaucoma, narrow anterior chamber angle, hypersensitivity to any component of the product. |
Pediatric use | May rarely cause dangerous CNS disturbances. Psychotic reactions, behavioral disturbances, and vasomotor or cardiorespiratory collapse in children have been reported with the use of anticholinergic drugs. |
Pregnancy | Category C. Animal reproduction studies have not been conducted |
Peak mydriasis 20-40 min. Peak cycloplegia 20-35 min. Recovery 4-8 hrs. 0.5% concentration gives better comfort but with about equivalent mydriasis as 1%. |
