Pregnancy | Systemic use of gentamycin during pregnancy can cause fetal hearing loss. Prednisolone is teratogenic in mice at 1-10 times the human ocular dose. |

Exercise caution with severe or unresponsive keratitis as steroids will exacerbate many nonbacterial infections. |
