Contraindications | Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients in the formulation. Possible cross-sensitivity to acetyl- salicylic acid, phenylacetic acid derivatives, and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents. |
Pediatric use | Pediatric safety and effectiveness not established. |
Pregnancy | Category C. Dystocia and increased pup mortality in rats when administered at 40x normal human ophthalmic dose. Prostaglandin-inhibiting drugs damage the fetal heart when used late in pregnancy. |
BAK and edetate free. Carboxymethylcellulose increases comfort and extends contact period. |
